Inspired by Dogma95, I reimagined the manifesto for contemporary times. Dogma95 was a manifesto centered around the film industry and called for a return to narrative and emotional storytelling amidst the growing trend of high-budget blockbuster moviemaking of the 90s.

In my reimagination of this manifesto, I saw an opportunity to create a movement that called for a return to connection without technology. Through this project I created a motion piece and a narrative poster series that would be used to inform the public of this new movement and encourage followers.

DOGMA 2.0 is a manifesto born out of growing frustrations with society’s increasing dependence on technology. Today we rely on technology most heavily as a source of human connection, but fail to realize how it prevents us from truly interacting with each other. While technology will nonetheless continue to further advance and develop, our movement aims to provide a stark balance. To tip the scales so that we always remember what it means to live a human experience.
